Frequently asked questions
Is window tint even worth it?
Yes. Beyond the look, professional film significantly blocks heat, cuts glare, and filters 99% of harmful UV rays. Whether in your car, home, or office, you’ll enjoy lower cooling costs, more privacy, and protection against interior fading. It’s a smart upgrade for year-round comfort.
Is car window tint legal in Georgia?
Yes – Georgia law requires front and rear side windows to allow more than 32% of light in, and only the top 6 inches of the windshield may be tinted. We’ll guide you on legal options to keep your vehicle compliant.
How much does window tinting cost?
Pricing depends on the project size and the film technology (Carbon or Ceramic). Full-vehicle tinting typically ranges from $200 to $500+, while residential and commercial projects are quoted per square foot. We provide clear, upfront pricing before you schedule, so there are never any surprises.
Remember: cheaper tint often uses lower-quality film that bubbles or fades. Doing it right the first time with our professional-grade films saves you money in the long run.
How long does window tint installation take?
Most vehicles are completed in 1–3 hours, depending on the number of windows and film type. For residential and commercial projects, the timeline depends on the total square footage, but we typically finish most homes and offices in a single day. We’ll provide a precise time estimate when we discuss your specific project.
Do I need to wait at the shop during car tint installation?
Not necessarily. Most full vehicle installations take up to 2 hours, depending on your vehicle and the windows being tinted. You’re welcome to wait in our shop — we have a small waiting area and guest Wi-Fi available. If you prefer to leave, you may arrange your own ride and return once the installation is complete.
We’ll call and notify you as soon as your vehicle is ready for pickup.
How do I clean my home windows after the tint is installed?
Once the film is fully cured (usually after 30 days), cleaning is simple. Use a soft microfiber cloth and a mild, ammonia-free glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive sponges or brushes, and your tinted windows will stay crystal clear for years to come.
Can I drive my car immediately after installation?
Yes, you can drive your car right away after installation. The only restriction is keeping your windows rolled up for 2–4 days while the tint cures properly.
Does residential window film provide privacy at night?
Privacy films, like “one-way mirror” tints, work based on light balance. They provide excellent daytime privacy while letting you see out. However, at night, when it’s brighter inside than outside, the effect reverses. For total nighttime privacy, we still recommend using blinds or curtains.
Can window film improve office/store security?
Absolutely. We offer specialized safety and security films designed to hold glass together upon impact. Whether it’s an accidental breakage or an attempted break-in, the film prevents dangerous shards from scattering, protecting your employees and making unauthorized entry much more difficult.
Does tint go on the inside or outside?
For vehicles, tint is always applied to the inside for maximum durability. For homes and businesses, we typically install it indoors to protect it from the elements. However, for certain modern high-efficiency windows, we may recommend exterior film to ensure the best heat rejection and protect your glass from thermal stress.
Is it possible to install window tint in a rented commercial space?
Yes. Window tinting is a non-invasive upgrade. It’s applied directly to the glass and can be professionally removed at any time without damaging the windows. This makes it a perfect, reversible solution for tenants who want to lower energy costs and improve comfort without permanent alterations to the building.
